I AM john d. mccray I live in South Carolina

John D. McCray is a 44-year-old African American. He was born and raised in Alcolu, South Carolina, and now resides in North Carolina. He graduated from Manning High School in Manning, South Carolina in 1997. John attended Central Carolina Technical College, where he majored in Criminal Justice. John works with adults with disabilities and special needs and has been in the field for nearly twenty years.

He has been writing for over thirty years and enjoys creating characters for your imagination to take you to a place as if you were right in the story. John’s other hobbies are reading, designing, and building furniture. Along with doing his upholstery, John likes to exercise by riding his bike in the parks, cooking, singing, and talking with diverse people of different cultures and backgrounds. John has a strong relationship with God, whom he thanks daily for blessing him with his gift of being a writer.

John plans to work on other projects that will allow him to take his talent to the theater and movie screens so that all can see his work outside of a book. John’s favorite life-application bible verse is: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens Me.” (Philippians 4:13)
